This story was inspired by a visit to a dementia care home and witnessing the poor quality of life on offer for the inmates. It seemed to me to be no more than a biological ATM or a departure lounge for those waiting to die. Do we have the right to die? Would you help a loved one to die if that was their last wish? How would you do it? What price would you pay? Would the punishment fit the crime?
